Duties:
- Assist Coe Drilling Australia, drilling operations including survey and seabed profiling.
- Run proving mandrel and install braided hauling line.
- Excavate to expose exit point area to receive bellmouth.
- Install 18mm wire 100m offshore ready for connection to transmission cable.
- Install completion piece and bellmouth ready for cable installation
- Tow floating cable from ship ‘Tyco Durable’ 500m offshore to pick up point and connection to hauling wire.
- Direct hauling operations from offshore and removing cable flotation.
- Install Stopper at holdback block 400m from bellmouth.
- Install articulated pipe for 450m offshore.
- Carry out video survey off completed work.
- Install steel completion piece and flange to fit cable installation bellmouth.
- Install 6m x 150mm dia pin pile to support HDPE conduit during cable installation and plough down
- Install split pipe adaptor and Articulated pipe protection.
- Carry out seabed survey on cable to 30m of water depth.
